Happy New Year’s Everyone!

January 9, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

We are into the new year now, and I am trying to stick to my new year's resolutions. Did I mention what they were? My first one is to read the Bible daily, and guess what? I haven't done that, yeah I disappointed myself. I do listen to daily prayer, but it is not the same, so that is going to have to change. Why is it I can stick to a diet, but not read the Bible every day? I have to, I need to do this. Dear Lord, please encourage and inspire me to read your word, I need you in my life. Before I go on. I need to do one thing. I am back. I just wanted to check in with a friend. I feel better now. I was going to talk about my sister but I decided not to. We are estranged sadly. Maybe another day. I pray she and her partner are doing well. Since starting my diet on January 3rd I believe, nope it is January 2nd I am keeping track Continue Reading

As I Sit Here I Ponder Many Things

One is the new keyboard where the space key doesn't space the way it should, effortlessly. I am hoping the Amazon seller gets my reply with my address, as they offered to send a replacement. I just wish this one would work without having to hit the keyboard so hard. It is annoying. We are well into January. I am very saddened by what has happened in the world since I last posted. I just cannot believe that I am alive to see what the world is becoming. Judge for yourself. It saddens me. What can we do? At this point in time, I suppose there is a lot that can still happen, and hopefully, things can turn around. I pray to God, that we get through this. Speaking of God. I had a chat with my oldest brother yesterday, yes talking about God, prophecies, and all that stuff. I won't go on in detail, as I don't want to make you, the reader, Continue Reading

How Fast Did 2019 Arrive?

January 24, 2019 by Emily Leave a Comment

I would say warp speed. I felt as if it was just Christmas, and now it is almost the end of January, wow! Happy New Year! I hope your holiday was fun and memorable. I had a nice Christmas with my honey and his family, and then here at home with just us and the girls (our cats: Lily & Daisy). We had some snowfall last week, not a lot but it did make it very cold. Today is warmer so it is melting away. However, it is super windy and it does cause me concern. The last time we had strong winds a tree fell on our deck, and we would hate for that to happen again. Oh please NO!! I decided to remove the contact form from this website because I continued to get a lot of soliciting emails, and I really don't want anything to do with them. Most of them were obvious they didn't even check the content lol. There is an email that a visitor Continue Reading

The Hustle and Bustle

Cici & Sisi

It is that time of the year, to get very busy. And I have been since November, hence why I haven't posted yet. But here I am posting about a video I just uploaded to YouTube. What is it? A haul, a huge haul. It actually consists of Christmas items, and some planner stickers and lots of DIY/Crafting items that I wanted/needed. Oh and look at those cute throw pillows, how can you not like them, and not want to see my video. I had to post it right away so you can go and check out all that I picked up. I already am working on another one, before I get behind. My birthday just passed Tuesday, December 4th. Yes! How fun are birthdays? They are fun when you have places to go and people to hang out with. Sadly, I am new to MA well not that new but new to this area and I don't know anyone. I know sad right? Yeah, that is life when you move Continue Reading

Getting Back On Track

October 2, 2018 by Emily Leave a Comment

What do I mean by back on track? Well as you can see I haven't posted anything since May, and that was an unfinished post. Why is that? Honestly just life, and the fact I didn't want to hold myself accountable for the weight I put back on. And yes I did put it all back on, all 100 lbs, sad right :( It is sad because I had hoped that wouldn't have happened. Read my past posts to understand why. It is October, and there is a lot going on. Last year and this year has been pretty crazy for us here. Back in April, we had some bad weather, and a tree fell on part of our deck, it really only took out the stairs, thank goodness. We never expected this tree to fall it completely took out our stairs going to the back yard, to date we have not had it rebuilt as other things came up. Yeah, we were not expecting this to happen, we were Continue Reading
