Weigh-in Catchup #3

May 20, 2024 by Emily Leave a Comment

Psalm 31.5 (NKJV)

Here we are another huge catch-up on my weight loss journey. This will be a long post. I apologize, but it's good to get it done. So let's get started. Weigh-in #35 (Sept 2, 2023) This was a good weigh-in. I weighed in at 258.5 lbs, I lost 1.7 lbs. It was a good loss. Now I just have to keep that up. We will see as we continue. Weigh-in #36 (Sept 9, 2023) From what I see, I decided to weigh in on Saturdays, so let's see if that continues. I weighed in at 259.3 lbs, I gained approximately .5 lbs. I'm not happy with it, but it is what it is. Weigh-in #37 (Sept 16, 2023) I weighed in at 256.5 lbs. I lost 2.8 lbs, which is great! An average of 2 lbs is what I would like to lose per week. Slow and steady. Weigh-in #38 (Sept 23, 2023) I weighed in at 254.5 lbs, losing 2 lbs, yay. Weigh-in #39 Continue Reading

Weigh-in #7 – Not What I Wanted

February 24, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

My results are not what I wanted or hoped, but I will take them. As I have said before. It is better to lose a little or nothing than to gain weight. It is Friday, I have been so busy this week. I have not had enough time to stop what I am doing, and come to post the update, so here I am doing it. As my title states, this past week, well wasn't the best, and with that. Now I worry about the next weigh-in. I hope to not have gained or lost anything than to have gained. Even if I do, that is okay. I just have to change certain things. And that is how it continues to go week by week. I have tried to keep up with logging my food. When I go back to look something up. I noticed I missed something or entered it wrong. That turns out messing me up for the week. This may be that week. As far as last week, I tried to stay on top of things, Continue Reading

Weigh-in #4 – What? Really?

February 1, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

The last weigh-in was a little disappointing, especially since it was just the 3rd week in. But I have to say this week is much better, and along the lines of what I am expecting, or close to it. I did what I said I would. I looked at what I have been eating and made adjustments. There are some meals that are homemade, and even though my husband helps me with determining calories for certain meals, I have allowed myself to have extra calories at the end of each day, at the minimum I try at least 100 calories. Just in case. Ok well, let us have a look at the photo now. I am happy with my results for the week ending January 29, 2023. I always weigh in first thing in the morning on Sundays. Hence why I am wearing my nightgown and slippers. I need to find my cat slippers they are warmer * and cuter, lol. I wore them in past weigh-ins Continue Reading

Weigh-in #3 – I Didn’t Expect That!

February 1, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

I know I am behind, this always seems to happen to me. I don't know if I will ever stay on top of things. It kind of upsets me. But let's get to why I am here. At first, I was feeling okay about the weigh-in, and then the day before, I just had a not-so-good feeling. I was spot on. I turned out gaining. I was disappointed, but at the same not disappointed. Because I thought of it like this. If you gain weight, even the smallest amount. You look back and see what you have been eating, and make the changes to make your next weigh-in a success. In all honesty, all weigh-ins are a success in a sense, because you are trying to achieve something. That to me is a success. I was going to put both my weigh-ins together but I decided against it, so they will be back to back. I am sorry that I didn't post this sooner, I really got busy, and Continue Reading
