For the last two weeks, really since May 2023, we have had a bad internet connection. But the last two weeks have been horrible, most of the time seemed like downtime. It got to a point I needed to call Verizon and find out what was happening. I tried numerous times to restart the router and troubleshoot via the Verizon app which they recommend. Then I tried a chat session, the first time we got disconnected due to doing it via my computer, I should have known better. But then I tried again via computer, and the same thing happened. I was pretty upset. I finally decided to try the chat session via my browser on my phone and have it on data only. Keeping Cool With Humid Weather
We always get humid weather here, most of Summer is humid, sad to say, but at least it is Summer. We take advantage of the days that are nice enough to sit out on the deck. Today we have the sun coming in and out. But it is about 82 degrees, and the low is expected to be 70 degrees, which is quite warm, which makes me concerned for my ferals outside. They are smart though, they find a cool place and stay there most of the day, and begin to come out when it gets cooler. Or when they are getting really hungry, I wouldn't say starving, because I feed them daily. Today, at about 10 am, my husband fed Sammy, I am glad he came around because he looked a bit skinny and needs to put my fat on his body, he also came around yesterday late afternoon. Real Life Gets Really Hectic
I don't even know where to begin. So I will just jump in. It has been over a month since I posted any kind of update. I have had so much going on. Between listing stuff for sale and keeping on top of that, writing reviews for products, feeding the cats inside and outside, and my day-to-day things here at home. It has been pretty hectic. So forgive me for not coming to post updates on anything, including my weigh-ins. As for my weigh-ins, I still do them, and I still keep track of them, so that I can come and do an update. Weigh-in #17 – I’ve Been So Busy!
I have literally been so busy, I didn't get a chance to write in my journal this week!! Let alone blog a post. Wow, I need to manage my time better, the older I get the less time I have in a day, what is going on with that? Do you feel that way too? Do tell! Sunday, April 30, 2023, was a great weigh-in, I lost 3.3 lbs, which is so exciting, I am down to 285 lbs, and little by little it is going down. Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo, I hope you all had a nice one. Ours was excellent, we made soft tacos with Mr. Tortilla, multigrain tortillas with 2 net carbs and 35 calories each, and quite delicious, check them out if interested. Keeping Busy & May Change Domain Names
I have been busy, but when aren't I right? There just isn't enough time in a day, to do all that you want to do. And even when you are busy, you just have to take some time out for yourself. It is healthy. I recently posted a weigh-in, as recent as today (Jan 19, 2023), depending on when I post this lol. I am happy with those results, although I know they won't always be what I want, all I can do is try my best. It is better than not trying at all. It is raining today, a dreary day. It got colder in my hobby room, and then I realized it was raining. It always gets colder when it rains. I am surprised we haven't got a lot of snow. However, it is normal for us to get a lot of snow from February through March. I am kind of looking forward to it, but at the same time, I am not.
