I have literally been so busy, I didn’t get a chance to write in my journal this week!! Let alone blog a post. Wow, I need to manage my time better, the older I get the less time I have in a day, what is going on with that? Do you feel that way too? Do tell! Tomorrow I will be weighing in again, so I will post again on Monday. Sunday, April 30, 2023, was a great weigh-in, I lost 3.3 lbs, which is so exciting, I am down to 285 lbs, and little by little it is going down.
Yesterday was Cinco de Mayo, I hope you all had a nice one. Ours was excellent, we made soft tacos with Mr. Tortilla, multigrain tortillas with 2 net carbs and 35 calories each, and quite delicious, check them out if interested. We used ground turkey and the usual things such as tomatoes, onions, sour cream, romaine lettuce, and shredded mozzarella cheese, and I had 1 Corona Light beer, which was 99 calories, insane right? So I limited myself to just one, my husband can enjoy the rest.
As my title suggests I have been pretty busy. It does bum me out sometimes, that I can’t do everything I want to do. I feed some feral kitties here at my house, apart from my girls Daisy and Lily. So that also takes up time. I am going to be trying to trap Momo again, he is the only feral I have trapped and neutered, but I need to re-trap him, as he has gotten hurt, and I need him to get some medical attention. I also want to get him tested for some contagious diseases because I would like to socialize him and bring him into the house, but if he has something, I wouldn’t be able to as my girls are at risk.
But even though, I would find him a suitable home or foster that is okay with whatever he has, I pray to my dear Lord that he does not have anything. I fell in love with that little ginger boy, and I would love to make him part of our family. To be honest, I feel he already is, I feel the same way about Sammy, Lilo, Pepper, Garfield, and Sherbert. I know 6 furbabies, and 3 come around more than the others, but if I can. I will trap them all and at the very least get them fixed, so they can’t have more babies. Especially if they are too feral. Momo allows me to get pretty close, but has yet to let me pet him Eventually huh?
Wow, I went on and on. It is such a beautiful day today. We went grocery shopping, my husband cut the grass, and now he is relaxing. I need to write some reviews, and I am enjoying a cup of decaf coffee. For dinner tonight we are having Caulipower Pizza and a salad. Let’s get to Sunday, April 30, 2023’s weigh-in photo.
So I am pretty happy with the results, and what I was getting to earlier, is that I ate what I ate yesterday, and I hope that doesn’t cost me. I have still been intermittently fasting, and that is working for me, and since it is. I don’t see myself stopping any time soon. I will be back on Monday with the results of tomorrow’s weigh-in.
