We are in June, and the weather is nice, at least it is today. Sometimes it rains, but that seems to be a normal thing for my area. Great weather is wonderful, but having a fridge break down isn't. We were able to save most of the food, but we did lose a few things. I would say we went for almost a week, maybe 5 days using an ice box. We borrowed my sister-in-law's, and the only thing they forgot to put in it, was the plug, so the water wouldn't leak out. We managed though, we had to regularly drain the water outside. My husband happened to run into her at the grocery store, so that was a good thing. Her igloo was huge, and it was perfect for us to have what we needed in the kitchen. My husband ordered 2 fridges, one downstairs in the basement, for overflow groceries. We already have a deep freezer, but sometimes that gets maxed, and with Continue Reading

I think many can agree the weather has just been crazy. Today, for instance, I woke up to thunder, lightning, and rain. And just yesterday, it was super sunny and hot. It was so hot I had to close the living room curtains because when the sun gets to that side of the house, it cooks the house. It is like that every year, the sun that is. The thunderstorm is another story. All through May it has been raining, and cold. It's unusually cold for that time of the year, which postponed working on the yard. Yesterday, my husband took out the bags of mulch and placed them near the areas where he is going to work. We took out the cushions for the deck furniture also, only for him to bring them in, in the morning. I popped out of bed, thinking oh my gosh, the cushions are going to be drenched. Spring, Rainy Easter, and DIYing
That sums it up. I love Spring don't get me wrong, I loved it more when I lived in California and I was actually able to enjoy it heh. Spring here is different, it is wet lol. We get a lot of rain, a day or so of just cloudy days, and then a day or so of very sunny ideal Spring weather. I would never leave here without my honey, it is home regardless of the weather. Moving along, below are some DIYs I did that I will talk about in my blog, they were so much fun to do. I had such awesome inspiration, and tutorials. Windy, Warm & Rain? How Odd!
Ok so I am as thrilled as the next Fall lover that Fall is finally here, but the last few days, have been odd, especially yesterday and today. Warm and windy for Fall. I mean the first few days of last week were really chilly, I mean so chilly that I thought we'd get an early Winter, but then after that it changed lol. Now I have my hair up with a hair clip, that is how warm it is. But at the same time, I can hear the wind outside, which sounds so amazing, I just love it! I really want to go out and take a walk and just take pictures! I absolutely love love love the Fall! It's nice, at least it's not humid, yuck! Lol. So apart from that, I just closed my contest I was having on Youtube. Now I just need to put all the glitter mixes that the girls sent to me as an entry, that is going to be a lot of fun. Persistence Pays Off, Believe It!
Yes!! Finally it's here. SUMMER! I'm super happy, that means no more rain? I hope. The weather has been wacky for ages, even when I lived in California, it was wacky, so I really don't know what to expect. It's 3:45pm EST and the temperature at the moment is 94 degrees, and yes I can feel the humidity. I've been indoors, so I don't feel it as much as others. I really hope William is keeping cool. I wish there was a way to guarantee that but alas there isn't. I know they have A/C at his job, so hopefully it's on and keeping him cool. So what's been going on with me.
