I think many can agree the weather has just been crazy. Today, for instance, I woke up to thunder, lightning, and rain. And just yesterday, it was super sunny and hot. It was so hot I had to close the living room curtains because when the sun gets to that side of the house, it cooks the house. It is like that every year, the sun that is. The thunderstorm is another story. All through May it has been raining, and cold. It’s unusually cold for that time of the year, which postponed working on the yard.
Yesterday, my husband took out the bags of mulch and placed them near the areas where he is going to work. We took out the cushions for the deck furniture also, only for him to bring them in, in the morning. I popped out of bed, thinking oh my gosh, the cushions are going to be drenched. It was raining awhile so I saw it to be pointless to go out and bring them in. Only to see he had already done it. He is a saint.
Today it rained in the morning, the sun came out and dried up the driveway, and the deck, allowing the cats Lilo and Oreo to sit around on the deck. They love it there. They were fed this morning. I also fed Momo, but I tell you he is one picky ginger boy. He ate some, but I left the food out there because I knew Smokey, Boots or him would show up to eat it. And Momo was eating like 5 minutes ago. From here I can see via the web camera that there is a little bit of food left. If I see Smokey show up. I’ll grab a container with some pre-mixed food and take it out to him. Yesterday, Lilo and Oreo looked so sweet napping on the deck, as you can see in the photo.
Don’t they look so peaceful and comfortable? I think they do. They are both so sweet. Lilo lately has allowed me to pet her, she has never done that in the 7-8 years we have lived here. I am happy she has let me pet her and doesn’t fear me too much. She still jumps away from me from time to time. But when my hand has a plate of food, she is practically walking under me, it’s so funny. I think she has seen me pick up Oreo, hold him, and put him back down without causing him any harm. I think that has helped too. They are lovely cats. I still wish Momo would let me pet him. I want to so much, but maybe in time.
In other news, our 5th wedding anniversary is coming up at the end of the month. I want to get my husband another game to play, but I am not sure what he wants, and if I get too obvious in asking him, it will spoil the surprise. So I may have to suffice with the pair of Skechers I got him. I let him pick them out because he will be wearing them, and I want him to be happy with them. I wanted to have at least 1 thing that is a surprise, but it may not work out that way this year. That is okay though. He has asked me what I want. I know what I want, a new purse, what woman doesn’t? Lol. I got the purse, which would be this beauty, pre-owned but in excellent used condition.
Pretty isn’t she? She is a Coach Jes Tote with Varsity Stripe in Burgundy. Gorgeous color. I’ll be honest. I had my eye on another one, but it was too pricey. This was a great price for a nice bag.
I feel like I spend so much time on the computer working, that sometimes I just want to watch a movie or binge on a TV series. Sometimes I feel overwhelmed. Recently, I have had a slight headache in my right temple that has been ongoing for about 3 days. I take Tylenol to relieve it for a while, once that wears off I can feel it returning. Stress maybe? So I do what I said I would, watch a movie, binge-watch a TV series, and I have been playing games too, online games.
I love it when I come across a free gaming online website. I recently found another website with games. They have such a great assortment of games. I have tried a few different ones. I think if I try games that have to do with counting and stuff, that will just stress me out. However, some of the games I have come across there would be great for kids, to help them with math. I found a couple of fun games, I have to share this with you. Maybe you might want to relax and play a few.
There is a game called Money Bubble Pop, I love it because I just have to collect a specific amount of bubbles that have the same image. In the beginning, it was fun, but then it got harder. I am going to continue playing that because now I feel it is a challenge. I got as far as level 10, and I kept losing, so I thought I would take a break.
As you can see in the last photo, my time was over, you only get 60 seconds to complete what you have to get. It is challenging but fun at the same time. I love the pop noise it makes.
Then I tried a game called Coffee Shop, yeah I sucked at that game so badly that I didn’t continue it. Then there was one called Hammers and Nails. Makes you wonder, what do you have to do? Hammer nails in right? That’s exactly what you do. You just hammer nails in, but you have to do it fast enough to win. As you can see I went as far as level 11, and I kept losing LOL.
My finger can hit the mouse button so fast, so yeah that was interesting. A little boringish (is this even a word?), but challenging in trying to hit the mouse button as fast as I can lol.
If I recall correctly the first one that I tried was a Bitcoin game named Bitcoin Tap Tap Mine that is exactly what you do, you just tap and earn (fake) Bitcoins, I’m sorry but that wasn’t at all challenging, and a bit boring, and I didn’t get the point of it, so I stopped playing it.
I also played the Hazardville game, where you put things in places where there could be a hazard, that was easy peasy, and wasn’t challenging to me, but would be great for kids, to learn about natural disasters.
Even though they can’t be prevented, you can prepare and be aware. It was a cute game.
I thought I would try my hand at a game called Idle Farming Business, which is a cute game and again great game for kids. I found it boring as an adult, but that is just me.
To me, it seems I would be a terrible business owner lol.
Then I thought I would give a game called Nuts and Bolts Screw Puzzle a try, it looked like fun. Now this was a little challenging for me. You unscrew bolts and try to release these metal plates to fall, but it’s tricky because you can get stuck. I got stuck several times, and am still stuck on level 14. Challenging, I like that.
I just barely beat level 13. I am not sure how many levels there are, but it’s pretty challenging for me. I think kids would love it, I challenge you to beat me!
The game that I find the most relaxing though, is Mahjong Solitare, it is a classic game and fun to play. Not to mention relaxing.
This is probably one of my favorite games to play. Even though you try to finish as fast as you can. I can watch a movie and play this, as I am not competing with anyone, and at the same time, I am enjoying it. Well, I think I will stop there because I went on and on about the games. This is an alternative to playing ps4, or any other computer game. I can access it at any time, and it doesn’t hog up all my resources. So that is my go-to game site.
While I played those games, I was watching a movie called Sting, and wow how scary, it is all about spiders. I don’t particularly like spiders, but when there is a movie about spiders, I just have to watch it. Look at the movie poster.
Look at the size of that spider on the ceiling. It was a good movie. If you are into that kind of movie and don’t get too freaked out by it, you should watch it. I watched another movie last month I believe, that had to do with spiders as well, and it is not Spider man lol. I am trying to remember the name of it. Oh yes, I remember now. It is called Infested it is in French so subtitles had to do. But it is creepy as heck too. See the movie poster.
Look, so creepy right? They both are. We are currently watching a British TV show called Hijack, it is a pretty good show, we are on episode 4, and it is very suspenseful. We have watched a lot of Korean shows/movies lately too. Too many to write about, but you may find some on my profiles at Letterboxd, The Move Database, or IMDB I have been on that website for over 15 years. There is always something new and good coming out. With all the streaming options, you will never run out of something to watch.
Well, I am sure there is a ton more I can talk about, but we’ll save some for another day. It will be time for my husband to be heading home. So, I want to get dinner ready, although it will be an easy dinner. I just want to be sure it is ready. I’m sure you all understand. The rain stopped, yay. We still may get more today though. I am ready for just sunny days. It’s warm right now, and I re-opened windows even though it was raining. Anyway, that is all for now. I hope you all are doing well. Have a blessed day.
