That sums it up. I love Spring don't get me wrong, I loved it more when I lived in California and I was actually able to enjoy it heh. Spring here is different, it is wet lol. We get a lot of rain, a day or so of just cloudy days, and then a day or so of very sunny ideal Spring weather. I would never leave here without my honey, it is home regardless of the weather. Moving along, below are some DIYs I did that I will talk about in my blog, they were so much fun to do. I had such awesome inspiration, and tutorials. Punxsutawney Phil Was Wrong!
When I first heard the news the day after Ground Hogs day I was excited that we were getting an early spring. I thought yay, finally we will get a decent Spring. Today is March 10, 2019 and guess what? He was wrong!! Oh so wrong. Just earlier today it snowed a little, and last week we were dumped with 1 foot of snow. This is not Spring weather! I guess no one is perfect, right? Hopefully the snow will now start to melt away and it will warm up, but right now, it is cold and I have my space heater on in my hobby room as it gets cold. We are thinking - NO, we are, going to get an electric fireplace for the living room, we have a smaller one in the bedroom and it is so nice. Bad Weather, Renovations, Where Is Spring?
The weather has really been overwhelming. I know in my last post, I posted about a diet, that we just couldn't start, due to recent events. Seriously, who has time? Honestly, losing weight was the furthest thing on my mind. Some would say, you have to make time. Well, my answer to that is, you are not me, do what's good for you, and I will do the same! Anywho, this all takes a toll. The bathroom that is being renovated, well it is done, it just needs a paint job, and a couple of things here and there before but is 100% done. I have to say, I am happy to kind of have the house back. Next, on the agenda is tackling my craft room. That is going to be fun. It's not really just a craft room. February, the month of love, ahhh! Another excuse to go shopping lol. Last month I posted, what once. See I must do better than that. By the time the end of the day comes, I don't want to type anymore lol. Let's move on from this, shall we? What have I been up to, and how are my goals to achieve my New Years resolutions going. Organizing - I am working on it. I have moved the Christmas stuff I bought on clearance down to the basement, but I still have to go down there and find a bin for it, as I don't want it to sit in bags, that just won't do, and William wouldn't like it either. A Busy Bee, I Have Been
Oh my gosh, I am still waiting for spring to really arrive, I feel like I am always complaining about that, but I am so over winter!! I know, when the real hot weather comes, then I'll be complaining, buy oh my gosh. It's been super windy last few days, plus a bit of a chill. Ugh I am so so over winter!! I have seen signs of spring though, which does make me happy, and I know it's not too far away :) The birds have begun chirping, things are blossoming, but yet, it's windy and still chilly. I have been really busy lately, just the last two days have finally been just relaxing, reading a few things on websites.
