Best Oldies Songs Ever

April 30, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

So I was reminiscing earlier today as we drove around, we took a nice drive around today, I had a nice time! Anyway as we drove around, we listed to the radio a bit, and usually I'll want to listen to some rock, so I do what I do so best, I went switching around the stations and we came upon a radio station where they were playing the best oldies songs ever! As I mentioned earlier I was reminiscing. I was remembering when I was in high school and Jr. high school, and the school would hold the annual 50's dance, omg I remember it so well. When I was in Jr high I didn't care much about it, but when I was in high school that was a whole different thing. I remember asking my dad to make me a poodle skirt and he did. OMG I have a photo somewhere hehe. Seriously, I remember going to thrift stores, trying to find a pair of oxford shoes, OMG Continue Reading

William is #Fabulous

April 15, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

Why do I think William is fabulous? Well let me first start by saying this is all about a contest, yay go me hehe. I like contests and if I can enter one I will. Hehe, this particular one is to win an iPad2, heck yeah, you know I'm trying to win one, I have been trying for awhile, and I am determined hehe, I know winning is all about chance, but hey if I can make my chances better by entering more than one, heck I will do it. Okay so this one is being brought to you by FabulousSavings.com, yeah it's a great website you can find lots and lots of savings, you should really check it out! As for the title, I mean it with every fiber of my being. You go through life, hoping and wishing you meet that one person that will turn your world around, that will truly make a difference in your life. Apart from my mother God rest her soul, I miss her Continue Reading

Meme’s Are Us

March 9, 2011 by Emily 1 Comment

I have noticed bloggers have been doing meme's lately, thus giving them something more to write about, when they get a writers block, which happens a lot to me as well. Being that the meme started on March 1, I think I will wait until April 1 to begin mine. The topic is 30 DAYS OF TRUTH, which will be interesting and also difficult to do, as I'm a very private person. But next month I will try to go through with it heh. Why did I talk about it now? Well to have something to talk about of course, and to hopefully embed this thought into my mind so that I do, do it next month. I came across it as I was looking at my twitter tweets, and I bounced over to Janet's blog, where I read up on her answers, and noticed that a few other people had done it as well, so I really thought, this sounds like fun. So heck yeah I'm going to do it :) If Continue Reading

Lose Track Of Time

February 26, 2011 by Emily 1 Comment

I think this happens to us all. We want to accomplish so much in a day, maybe even make a list of what you want to do, but for some reason, you get sidetracked and there goes your goals for the day. This has happened to me over and over, time and time again. I can't get my head around it, makes me kind of mad. Especially when there are things I really want to get done. If it isn't a phone call it's a text, if it isn't that, it's a message online, if not that, then some other type of distraction. I mean honestly it seems like time gets shorter as we get older, because at the end of the day, nothing seems to get done, it's aggravating! So I'm very happy, we finally decided to break down and get cable, we were holding out for FIOS TV but it didn't ever seem to get here, so no going back now. Next weekend they will be here to install the Continue Reading

Warmer Days Ahead

February 16, 2011 by Emily Leave a Comment

I think winter will be over soon. We are suppose to have some spring weather coming, so that will be something nice to look forward to. One of my websites was down for awhile or maybe most of the day yesterday. There was some problems with my usage, I'm being told that my website is using up a lot of resources, I'm also told that it's probably one or more of my wordpress plugins, so I need to find out which ones take up the most, and I will have to probably stop using it or them. I know it sucks, but with my personal site, my hosting plan is a small one, and I am in no position to upgrade at all. So I am going to try to do this, a few plugins shouldn't make a difference. Anyway so now I need to go through my plugins see what I really want to keep and what is not taking up the resources so I'm not suspended again lol. I know it's not Continue Reading
