I do have a lot to be thankful for despite my last post. Alice is in London, working 12 hour shifts, so we couldn’t share this day, even though here in England they don’t celebrate it. I miss it, I do, I have celebrated that all my life. It’s like taking Guy Fawkes day away from the English, hehe imagine that. Well anyway the Brits are not the only ones that don’t celebrate Thanksgiving. Even though I am here I still am in spirit of it.
Had a nice conversation with Alice, actually heard her laugh, was really happy about that. I’ll be making a run to London at the end of the month, then driving back with Alice, need to help her pack some stuff from where she is at, at the moment. She is moving out of there finally and going to be here with me. I do worry about her commute though, we are about an hour and a half by train to the London, and she would be going in at 8 pm, she’ll be working 12 hour shifts, 5 days on and 5 days off, so it will be rough, I hope it don’t make her too stressed, but I know she would love to be here, to come home to her own bed, and to wake up in the morning in her own home, even if she does take the train, and I know she’d prefer the train over driving any day.
I’ve always said I love the rain, and wow has it been raining, the winds have been so strong, that the rain hits the windows, and tonight I have to go out in the rain or drizzle which ever and put out the electronics recycling stuff, yes we recycle (6) I was going to cut up another box, but I think we are going to use that for packing some stuff of Alice’s. Trash day was Wednesday right, and when Alice was here we thought we put the trash out on Tuesday night, and the next day we realized we put it out on Wednesday night instead, so they didn’t take the trash, so I put it back whee we keep the bags,and well I took out the trash Tuesday night, but completely forgot that those bags were trash and not recycling, becasue when we recycled last week, the wind blew away a lighter bag, so it also stayed for this week, lol. So when I put the trash out on Tuesday night, I put only one bag and the bags from last week are still there ;( Oh gosh I know it sounds all confusing and stuff Lol. So next week before I take the train out I have to remember to put the recycling out so that there is nothing left, and remember to put the trash out so everything is gone. Lately the seagulls haven’t been invading the trash, so I hope it stays like that. When I got grocery shopping tomorrow, I have to remember to take the bottles that recycling don’t take which is odd lol, hmm maybe i just didn’t get the right bags, need to check on that, either way I can always take it with me because the store I shop at has recycling bins for glass. I don’t know why I talked about this. Last thing, I finished a new fanlisting,if you like Billiards/Pool then go join my fanlisting, also join my Happy Days fanlisting, and lastly the Laurel and Hardy fanlisting. Okay well Happy Thanksgiving to everyone I know everyone is probably getting ready for dinner.
