I finally have my chance to post a little something. Well the concert was entertaining, Dolly Parton not only sang her heart away but she told us a few stories in relation to her songs. Alice had a wonderful time and so did I. Although the trip there was less than expected. We got lost lol. I’m bad with maps and directions and Alice has the patience of .. well you get the picture. We got so lost and by the time we got to the hotel, we had like maybe 30 mins before going to the concert, which orginally we planned to have a few hours. I feel bad but I told her I get confuses with the motorways and the signs here in England, but that didn’t stop her from being her normal self and yelling LOL! We got there and had good seats, the people to my left never showed up so we hogged up 4 seats hahah, it was great. Had a nice big cold beer and enjoyed the music. We finally left and went out to have a nice Indian meal and a bottle of nice wine it really was nice. We went back to the hotel. I ran her a nice bath and she went in for a while then I went in, and she went to bed, I stayed up and watched Billy Madison, then Untamed Heart and then finally to sleep. During the night she woke up needing a hug. We had to get a hotel with twin beds so people don’t look at us cross eyed lol oh well, she still slept in my bed for a bit. But I tell you the trip there was really not great and I just wanted to drop to sleep. I am glad we went even though we went through what we went through. We’ve been doing a lot of cuddling and loving each other since coming back. She goes to London on Friday to start work on the 4th and I’ll be here alone. So next few days we are goingt to try to do things together and spend some quality time together. I know it seems like when I post we are having some kind of a fight, but on the other hand we do have some good times and loving times together, we manage to get through things one way or another. Thanks for the comments everyone I have yet to install the plugging plug in lol.
Nan says
Dolly Parton? That sounds cool. I know she recently gave a concert here in Denmark too but I didn’t go. My husband thinks I already overspend the concert budget for the entire year with Aerosmith and Metallica in the first part of the year and then Take That in the fall – and then of course there’s a trip for us in the winter to Australia – but I am glad you guys had a great time!
