I is for Inception #AtoZChallenge

April 10, 2012 by Emily 10 Comments

This was another great film. I get entertained easily, by many things, but when it comes to films, I get real picky. Ever since meeting my wonderful William, my eyes opened up to a lot more than chick flicks lol. So I have him to thank for. I’m a SyFy girl now! Ok well today’s AtoZ letter is the I for the film Inception. This film can really get you to think, the concept is amazing. Anyway so what is all this nonsense about Inception?

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious during the dream state, when the mind is at its most vulnerable. Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved. Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption. One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible-inception. Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one. If they succeed, it could be the perfect crime. But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move. An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

A must watch film, I love the special effects, I’m just wow’d by it. See told you I am easily entertained, if I really like something, give that trailer a watch and see what you think, have a great day!

@nutschell: I didn’t know there was going to be a sequel but with the way it ended, it does not surprise me

It was an intriguing movie– but I kept finding loopholes, and too much backstory.

@Damyanti: I have a friend that does that too. I mean sits there looking for every possible flaw, when instead I just sit and enjoy and don’t care about the flaws, as I said I am so easily entertained!

Probably one of my favourite films, although I’m not one to watch that many!
