I was going to blog a bit about my disappointment with my dieting, a little drawback that is not going to happen again, more on this visit my other blog here, yeah I’ll speak more about it there. All I have to say is I’m not giving up. I won’t let it beat me this time. I wish I was this strong years ago.
So it’s pretty much the end of January, and we’ll be going into February, yay! Hoping for warmer weather is on everyones mind. Especially all the states that got hit with that arctic blast not too long ago. I think my year is starting off good. Been on a diet for about a month now, very happy with that, over all that is.
I’m interested in getting some hair extensions, at first I wasn’t sure, but even though my hair is long, my hair is thinning out more and more, I’m shedding lol. I want more volume in my hair. After I wash it, it’s nice full, at least it looks like that, but I want thickness to my hair. I am considering going short with my hair. I think it was about a month or two ago, I had some cut off, but I am considering maybe another 4-5 inches, I still want it long, but I’d like it thicker. And thought hair extension would be great.
So as you can imagine, I am doing my research. I can honestly say that every brand is going to have it’s ‘These hair extensions suck’. So with seeing videos where people are not happy, what is a person to do, just jump in and hope for the best. I don’t know. I’m scared, and confused. I’ve watched videos on LoveBodyBling extensions, FoxyLocks extensions, Bellami extensions, CC Extension, and I hear different things. One video I watched was right, most of the videos or ‘reviews’ you see, are those people just opening the package. It’s very rare when you see someone come back 6 months later and tell us the truth about their experience. Those are the reviews I’m looking for. What are your thoughts? Have you tried any? What do you recommend from personal experience?? In the meantime I am going to keep researching. Money doesn’t grow on trees, and I don’t want to blow $150 + and then 2 months later they suck ass. Honestly who does?
Additionally, they must be real hair!! Synthetic hair is just not the way I want to go. If I want to curl my hair, it’s something I’d like to have the option to do, which I probably will. I don’t need my hair to burn away or anything. I heard best way is to test it. But honestly even if you open the package, do a burn test, and it turns out to be fake or whatever, what are the chances you are getting your money back? Slim right? Pretty scary. I have considered going into the beauty salon to get them done, and not opting for clip-ins. But those are even more expensive. But I did decide to at least have a stylist look at it, my salon has this new booking software that made it a lot easier to make an appointment online. This is after all an investment. I would love anyones thoughts on this. I need to do more research!
Running a salon gets harder as you get older Because you are the only person in the world who will pay you to do your hair, it’s pretty easy to think you’ve made it. Almost anybody can run a hair salon, all you need is some skill and some great salon furniture for the clients.
Guess I’ll go do some of that now, have a great weekend everyone!
