I am sure you can imagine what I am referring to? That would be the major disaster happening with Afghanistan. I cannot believe the President just abandoned all those Americans and allies over there. What was he thinking? He wasn’t that is the problem. Who would do such a thing? Those people must be so scared, and I am 100% sure that some have been executed already, but we don’t know about it, and probably won’t. May God watch over them all.
My posts aren’t really political, I try to keep them about my life, but this affects my life. I am angry, scared, worried, and a bunch of other things about what is going on. I knew that the President was a big mistake, even though he cheated to get in there. A huge diabolical plan by many.
You know what also upsets me is all the Veterans who lost their lives fighting there, and those who served, was that all for nothing? I can’t begin to imagine how they feel about this. It sickens me. This video I found today is so sad. Some afghan men hold on to the plane as it takes off, and while the plane is in the air, you can see people falling to their deaths, this is just so very sad
Okay on a happier note. I am fully recovered from I believe a nasty food poisoning. It was horrible. I am back to working on my listings, and I am going to prepare to start photographing some Fall /Winter clothing that I want to start putting up. I think now would be an ideal time. There are always people looking for Fall/Winter clothing.
I have noticed that most of my sales are on Mercari. I enjoy selling on there, I also sell on Poshmark and I do sell some things on there but not as much as on Mercari, I also have my share of sales on Ebay. Currently, Mercari has something called Mercari Local, where you can sell to people that live locally to you, kind of like Facebook Marketplace. I have one thing that I had listed but then deactivated because I wasn’t sure what $0.00 shipping meant, see photo below.
Now under $200, it says $0.00 and at the bottom of the listing (Picture #2), it says Local | $7.99. As a buyer, I would be confused as to what that means. Does $0.00 mean free shipping? and/or does at the bottom where it says Shipping & Payments mean shipping will be $7.99?
I have watched 1 video where the person said that shipping is obviously paid by the buyer, and shipping will depend on how far they live from me. So when the Uber driver comes to pick up the item, they will drive and deliver it to that person. I am assuming that Mercari is held liable if an Uber driver damages or loses the package. I need more info, and there is not a lot of videos out there about this. I thought about trying to sell an item that doesn’t cost as much just to test it out, and see how the whole process works. I think this would be awesome to offer Local.
