It truly is here, Fall. And the temperatures are dropping little by little. Tonight it’s going to be in the low 40s. I need to assemble a new heated cat house for Lilo. Speaking of Lilo (she is a semi-feral cat that lives on the deck, and maybe one day will become an inside cat), she hadn’t been feeling well last night. She didn’t eat much or get up waiting for me like she usually does. It really made me sad Today, I checked on her, didn’t really want to eat. She got up, went to sit in the sun, then returned to her bed. She finally had a little to eat. I am hoping tomorrow she will feel better. I love that little girl very much. I have my inside girls, so I can’t bring her in yet. I know she gets ticks now and then. I felt one under her chin/jaw today, so tomorrow I am removing it. She’s semi-feral, so I hope she doesn’t get too fussy. Keep her in your prayers. I don’t think I’ll be finishing this post tonight, as it is already 7:30 pm, and I shut things down at 8 pm to spend time with my husband before bed.
Saturday, we had dinner with my sister-in-law, who treated us to my husband’s birthday. That was nice of them. We had a gift card from the place we went to, so we put that towards it, and it came in handy too. I’m glad we had a nice time. I felt a little underdressed; my sister-in-law had slip-on shoes, and I was wearing white sneakers, LOL. It was a casual place, so I didn’t feel too bad. But I think I am going to look into getting some dressy shoes, even if I wear them with a nice top and jeans, just to have them. I’m thinking penny loafers, I don’t know, I’m going to look around.
Today, Daisy, pee’d a up close to the side of the litterbox, and since we removed the lid, she kind of pee’d over it partially, I was shocked, and I little upset, it wasn’t her fault, thankfully most was inside, and some was on the mat, and a little on the little she had kicked out the previous few times she went. I’m glad I hadn’t vacuumed it LOL. Now I am considering a high-walled little box, like higher than what she has here, just to keep her from peeing outside of it by accident. There is a YouTuber who has a lot of cats, and I have seen it on her show, and thought, Wow, that is something I want to try. She is getting to the age that she doesn’t want a cover on the littler box, but for now, it’s going to have to stay on. I hope she still goes in it. Please, no accidents on the carpet.
I am back. I started this yesterday and didn’t have enough time to finish it, so today I will. Today, Lilo was eating normally. I am really glad. I don’t know what was wrong the last two days, but she did have me worried. Thank you, Lord, for watching over my sweet Lilo. She went off somewhere. I hope she stays safe. I missed Mittens this morning to feed, I feel so bad :(. His food is waiting for him when he comes back.
It is almost Halloween, but we do not celebrate Halloween anymore. I just don’t feel glorifying evil is a good thing to do. That is pretty much what they are doing. The decorations are getting so elaborate, sure, they are creative and all, but it is my personal preference not to celebrate it; we do not decorate or give out candy. We are fine with it. I hope those who do stay safe out there.
I think that is all for now. I will leave you with a few photos of Lilo and Mittens, both precious little souls.
These two are of Lilo, she is sitting on the deck furniture on her bed last night. It was very cold. I’m glad she has a thick coat. I put her bed up when it may rain, although she gets a little more wind there, she can at least stay dry. Hopefully, soon, she will go into the heated house. Lilo is a semi-feral cat to me. She was here on this property when we moved her, and now I love her very much. There was no flash; she just had her eyes closed a little. She has beautiful green eyes. The 2nd photo is of her sitting on the walkway going into my husband’s shed, enjoying the sun.
This sweet tuxedo is Mittens. He showed up about a year or two ago. It is nice to still see him. My other ferals disappeared or moved on to other places. I hope they are doing well, and I miss them so much. I noticed Mittens has a possibly healed injury to his leg, like it’s possible it broke or something, because I can tell when he is walking, he doesn’t really bend it like it should bend, it doesn’t stop him from running around, he seems okay with it, and doesn’t seem to be in pain. If I could take him to the vet to check him, I would, but these two would be impossible to take unless I put them in a trap LOL. I know that Lilo is fixed. I would like to catch Mittens and get him checked, but with the cold season coming in, I think I’ll wait until warmer weather.

In the 1st picture, you can see his right leg kind of pulled out a little; you can also see it in the 2nd photo. But he is a very handsome boy, I love his white whiskers. I’m glad he chose me to come to find safety with. Where he goes after I don’t know. I do wish he would stay here more. There will be another heated house that I hope he chooses to use. These are the only 2 semi-feral/feral kitties that come around.
Well, that is all for me. I will see you in my next post. Have a safe Halloween. Please pay attention to any candy recalls for the safety of your children. Have a blessed day. And don’t forget!
For with God nothing shall be impossible.

Until next time
