Weigh-in Progress Catch Up

July 8, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

I am finally doing this update to catch up on my weight loss. Today is Saturday, so I thought today is a good day to catch up before another weigh-in tomorrow. I have been crazy busy, and have not had a chance to update. Although I still do my weigh-ins and I take the picture I always take them for my record. I have had ups and downs but no weight gain. As my last blog post suggested. I did reach my 6-month goal of losing 50 lbs, yay for me. Now on to the weigh-ins. We have quite a few weeks to catch up. Weigh-in #18 - I barely lost anything, but at least it was not a gain! I lost 0.3 lbs, weight is 284.7 lbs. Weigh-in #19 - This was another week, I barely lost anything. Yes, I was disappointed, but at the same time relieved I didn't gain weight. I lost 0.4 lbs. My weight was 284.3 lbs. Weigh-in #20 - I was extremely Continue Reading

Weigh-in #7 – Not What I Wanted

February 24, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

My results are not what I wanted or hoped, but I will take them. As I have said before. It is better to lose a little or nothing than to gain weight. It is Friday, I have been so busy this week. I have not had enough time to stop what I am doing, and come to post the update, so here I am doing it. As my title states, this past week, well wasn't the best, and with that. Now I worry about the next weigh-in. I hope to not have gained or lost anything than to have gained. Even if I do, that is okay. I just have to change certain things. And that is how it continues to go week by week. I have tried to keep up with logging my food. When I go back to look something up. I noticed I missed something or entered it wrong. That turns out messing me up for the week. This may be that week. As far as last week, I tried to stay on top of things, Continue Reading

Weigh-in #6 – Keeping On Track

February 17, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

Life is so busy, I forget to post my weigh-in progress in a timely manner. Some things are unavoidable. But as you see by the title, it has been another successful weigh-in. Sometimes I don't know how I can manage my time better. I have a lot of distractions that cannot be helped. Moving on to the weigh-in, here is my latest weigh-in photo. This photo made my legs look weird lol. Those are the kitty slippers I was talking about in another post. I have my eyes on a pair of Hello Kitty slippers similar to these. These are very comfy by the way :) I lost 2.7 lbs, I am happy with that. I have to admit I am a little worried about Sunday's weigh-in. I say this because we had rice a few times this week, not a lot, like 1/2 cup. We haven't eaten rice in about 2 years, just has a lot of carbs. But we have to rotate our stash so that it Continue Reading

Weigh-in #5 – That Is What I Like!

February 9, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

This weigh-in was successful. I am happy with the results, that is what I like. Even though the previous weigh-in wasn't what I wanted, it is what it is. I have to go back, look at what I am eating, and adjust again. I track all my meals, and I have mentioned this several times. I will probably mention it again in the future. You never know who stumbles onto your website and doesn't know that, so I think it is okay to repeat. Now for the photo. A thumbs-up smiley means I am happy. I lost 1.6 lbs, not a 2 lb loss but still, it is very close. So far so good. I feel the difference. I guess that will keep happening. I won't make this too long. it is a pretty simple post. I did want to say that I was looking for my kitty slippers, as those are the ones I wear when I weigh in, and I wanted to use them again. So in the next photo, it Continue Reading

Weigh-in #4 – What? Really?

February 1, 2023 by Emily Leave a Comment

The last weigh-in was a little disappointing, especially since it was just the 3rd week in. But I have to say this week is much better, and along the lines of what I am expecting, or close to it. I did what I said I would. I looked at what I have been eating and made adjustments. There are some meals that are homemade, and even though my husband helps me with determining calories for certain meals, I have allowed myself to have extra calories at the end of each day, at the minimum I try at least 100 calories. Just in case. Ok well, let us have a look at the photo now. I am happy with my results for the week ending January 29, 2023. I always weigh in first thing in the morning on Sundays. Hence why I am wearing my nightgown and slippers. I need to find my cat slippers they are warmer * and cuter, lol. I wore them in past weigh-ins Continue Reading
