The last few days have been so nice, I wish that weather was happening over the weekend, so my honey can enjoy it, plus he has outside work he wants to do, and he hasn't been able to because of the rain, that comes every few days, blah. Happy Mother's Day! This is my 17th Mother's Day I will be missing without my mom, God Rest her soul, and may she be reunited with her parents and her cat Juliet. I miss her so much!! Mom I love and miss you! Last year we set a date to get married, we chose May 16, 2019. We had no intentions of having a big wedding but I did wanted some diamond wedding rings for us to remember, as we are past that time in our lives, even though we have not been married prior to getting together. Spring, Rainy Easter, and DIYing
That sums it up. I love Spring don't get me wrong, I loved it more when I lived in California and I was actually able to enjoy it heh. Spring here is different, it is wet lol. We get a lot of rain, a day or so of just cloudy days, and then a day or so of very sunny ideal Spring weather. I would never leave here without my honey, it is home regardless of the weather. Moving along, below are some DIYs I did that I will talk about in my blog, they were so much fun to do. I had such awesome inspiration, and tutorials. Punxsutawney Phil Was Wrong!
When I first heard the news the day after Ground Hogs day I was excited that we were getting an early spring. I thought yay, finally we will get a decent Spring. Today is March 10, 2019 and guess what? He was wrong!! Oh so wrong. Just earlier today it snowed a little, and last week we were dumped with 1 foot of snow. This is not Spring weather! I guess no one is perfect, right? Hopefully the snow will now start to melt away and it will warm up, but right now, it is cold and I have my space heater on in my hobby room as it gets cold. We are thinking - NO, we are, going to get an electric fireplace for the living room, we have a smaller one in the bedroom and it is so nice. Happy New Year 2019 ~Wow!
I cannot believe how fast 2018 zipped by us. We (William and myself) were just talking about how fast 2018 went by. It feels like it was just Christmas, and then here is Christmas again. And look we are officially 7 days into the new year! How did that happen? Lol. So let's start with what my New Years resolutions are, and I sure do need to keep more than one. First I would start with continuing my diet back on track as best I can, without taking the fun of living life. Then I would say that organizating is a big thing for me, I tried last year and failed miserably. This year I am giving it another go. Early Christmas Present
I meant to post this awhile a go, and with Christmas 3 days away, it still is an early Christmas present. My honey has wanted a mini fridge for his beverages, and had never had a chance to really look around, there was never anything he liked, and I don't blame him for not just going out and buying anything you find. Then this fell on our lap. EEEEK so excited!! A mini beverage cooler! How awesome is this?? I know you can't see much of it right now, you get a hint as to what it look like by the box. We were over the moon when we got this. Especially my honey, as it is exactly what he was looking for. He didn't want one that has a freezer section.
