The last few days have been so nice, I wish that weather was happening over the weekend, so my honey can enjoy it, plus he has outside work he wants to do, and he hasn't been able to because of the rain, that comes every few days, blah. Happy Mother's Day! This is my 17th Mother's Day I will be missing without my mom, God Rest her soul, and may she be reunited with her parents and her cat Juliet. I miss her so much!! Spring, Rainy Easter, and DIYing
That sums it up. I love Spring don't get me wrong, I loved it more when I lived in California and I was actually able to enjoy it heh. Spring here is different, it is wet lol. We get a lot of rain, a day or so of just cloudy days, and then a day or so of very sunny ideal Spring weather. I would never leave here without my honey, it is home regardless of the weather. Moving along, below are some DIYs I did that I will talk about in my blog, they were so much fun to do. I had such awesome inspiration, and tutorials. Punxsutawney Phil Was Wrong!
When I first heard the news the day after Ground Hogs day I was excited that we were getting an early spring. I thought yay, finally we will get a decent Spring. Today is March 10, 2019 and guess what? He was wrong!! Oh so wrong. Just earlier today it snowed a little, and last week we were dumped with 1 foot of snow. This is not Spring weather! I guess no one is perfect, right? Hopefully the snow will now start to melt away and it will warm up, but right now, it is cold and I have my space heater on in my hobby room as it gets cold. We are thinking - NO, we are, going to get an electric fireplace for the living room, we have a smaller one in the bedroom and it is so nice. I think we'll save on the bills, with the electric fireplace, so the heater doesn't have to go on all the time all over the house, in rooms no one is in Continue Reading
Getting Organized, or Trying To!
Why does getting organized take so much time. You realize how much you have when you do the littles of organizing lol. Even keeping up with my planner takes time. So it is a lot of stuff I try to juggle. Sometimes I think I overwhelm myself so much. I get stressed, and then I get a weird head ache that only affects my left back side, weird, like right behind my ear. Is that possibly from the fall down the basement stairs last year? Gosh I hope not :( This is how I feel sometimes, except my hair doesn't get like that hehe. I am seriously thinking of just donating some nail polishes that I have had for a long time since I have newer polishes now. Why so much rain? Pretty foliage!
I love the Fall season, but it ruins it when it keeps raining. I can't believe how much rain we have recently gotten. I want to enjoy the Fall season before it begins to snow. I took advantage of the weather yesterday and stepped out to the deck and recorded the beautiful woods behind our house. The leaves changing color and falling, it was really breathtaking in my opinion, but I am biased. Oh yes Happy Halloween!! I decided to do my face up lol. Well first time trying to do a Sugar Skull look, to say the least it didn't come out as I had wanted. I was so very unprepared. I have to say I did have fun doing it, it was an experience I would like to make better next year.
