March 14, 2012 by Emily 2 Comments

Who doesn't like to play lotto now and then? We definitely do in our household, we even go as far as to buy our yearly number, so we don't forget to buy it each week, smart hey? I think so, it's just one of those things you do in the event we forget. Well if you like playing the Lotto, and I know you do ;) And how about them scratcher cards, those are awesome too, I know William has won a few times, so definitely do it, and his mom won like $200.00 at one time. I am not kidding you, and on top of all that, you know what Williams grandmother wants for Christmas and her birthday? Hah, yeah that is correct, scratcher tickets, she's gotta play them!! Well if you like winning some extra cash, and these days every little bit of extra helps, right? Heck yeah I'm right. Well why not play on the online lotto style website and win some cash!!?? 30 Days Of Truth – Day 18: Your Views On Gay Marriage

March 10, 2012 by Emily 3 Comments

Let me start by saying these are my views, my thoughts, so please respect them. I am all for gay marriage. Everyone is entitled to spending their lives together regardless of race, and those that want to spend their lives together want to spend it in an arrangement called a marriage. There are many reasons for wanting to be in a marriage, everyone has their own. I feel that homosexuals aka gays should have the same rights as heterosexuals in a marriage. They are spending their lives together, doing just about everything that a heterosexual couple would do. They may not have kids, but they sure can raise them, they can love them, just like anyone else. So since the gay couples are doing all this, they need to be on the same insurance as well. Be able to be the next of kin if one of them should fall ill and be hospitalised, do you see where Continue Reading

Did We Get Lucky? Or Is It A Sign Of What’s Ahead?

March 8, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I'm sure you all heard yesterday about the Solar Flare that was to happen at 1am EST? I did, and I did stay up, waiting to see if something happened. And since I'm writing this, and you all are up and around, nothing really big happened, not even knocking out the grid, but there are plenty of people that worry about it each and everyday. After seeing it on TV last night, yeah of course I worried, I'm a paranoid person haha no I'm not but I do wonder about a lot of things, as so many of us do. I didn't take it too serious because I seen it mentioned once last night on the news, and then again this morning. So should I rely on the news to tell me everything? Hah! Probably not. We need to stay informed, and being told something is going to happen in a matter of hours, is just not enough notice!! What is a Solar Flare, as quoted from Continue Reading

Patience Is Really A Virtue!

March 6, 2012 by Emily 5 Comments

I can have patience at times, but other times, it have none what so ever. Is it an age thing? Or is it just all the BS we had to live with, that you get to a point when 'Enough is enough'? I could be both in some cases. I have seen that over the years my patience has grown shorter. But I think about the things that I lose my patience with, and I think to myself, 'My gosh, how can they be so stupid? It's common sense!', I know I shouldn't think like that, but sometimes I do. I'll be honest, it has happened many times. I try to walk away when that happens to cool down. I hate stupid people, and you know, it's not that they are stupid, not at all, it's that I don't have the patience like I used to. I hope to get a grip on that, and really to be honest, I think it happens when I'm doing a lot of stuff, and I have my mind set on something, Continue Reading

A Lot Of Great Magazines, With Great Articles

March 5, 2012 by Emily Leave a Comment

I have subscribed to a few great magazines, that have some really great articles, and I so want to share some of them with my visitors. The problem is, I'm not too sure what the copyrights are on that kind of thing. I would probably want to share exactly what they talk about because it's useful information. If I read it, I'd be interested in them, and I feel my visitors would too. So with that said, how do I know when it's okay to copy what's in an article? Should I write it in my own words? What if my words aren't good enough, and the way they are putting it is better? Can I still do it? Those are some of the questions I have asked myself about some of the articles I've read. Some have steps, and of course I want to keep them in my blog if I am to give the right kind of information to my visitors. Should I contact the magazine, and Continue Reading
