The End Of The Year Is Here!

December 1, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

Can you believe how fast this year has gone? And oh my goodness so much craziness going on. We really need our nation to heal. What is happening is unacceptable. I don't like talking about politics too much, but I just want the truth to come out, whatever it may be. God help us all. On a happier note. I am starting to see houses with Christmas lights, it is a time for cheer and we all need it badly. We aren't going to put up many lights this year, but we will be putting up a Christmas tree. We cannot have a real tree because we have cats, and if you have cats you shouldn't either. Please don't put a real tree, this is very dangerous for cats and dogs. I'll leave a link to a good article, please use good judgment, we all want a happy and safe Christmas. Continue Reading

So Much Going On In The World

November 20, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

I get this COVID-19 has flipped all our lives upside down. But 2020 doesn't seem to stop with these bad surprised that keep popping up. It has to be one of the worst years in history, I could be wrong, but in my history, it is lol. I am very disappointed in 2 companies. Probably more but I'll just chat about 2. Walmart - we are signed up for unlimited free delivery, and I have been taking full advantage of that. The delivery drivers have been for the most part on top of the game with the exception of 2 deliveries where they delivered to the front door instead of the side door as specified in my orders. But they are filled correctly and very happy with how they have picked out my produce. My issue today is the web browsers and app not allowing me to get through check out. I don't think I am the only one. I honestly had to look Continue Reading

Has The World As I’ve Known It Coming To An End?

June 6, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

Look around, it sure does seem like it, or at least we are getting there. I am so tired of it, and I see no end to it, to be quite honest if we continue to go the route we are going, and I mean every single one of us. No exceptions. Sometimes I feel I am fortunate to not have had any kids, not the way the world is now. I feel blessed at times and often wonder why. Then I look around and my question is answered. Why must the world be full of so much hate? I may ever know. I'll be honest I have hesitated to write a post but I need to keep my blog active. Because I just am lost for words sometimes. I pick myself up and move ahead and write. Moving on, I think this is the longest I have gone without posting. Unless you go back to the beginning, I slacked big time then. Now you can't seem to get me to stop yapping. I digress. I am Continue Reading

Is There No End To This Madness? It’s Time To Move On!

April 19, 2020 by Emily Leave a Comment

I have watched the news, read articles, had conversations, and I am tired of it already. I want things to begin to get back to normal. Granted it will never be 'normal' because of this pandemic, things have changed forever. People's lives have been altered, things are so uncertain right now, and probably in the foreseeable future. Honestly, that is not only scary but sad. In my last post I was talking about beaches being open that shouldn't have been open to stop the spread. A month later, they are reopened. As I mentioned I have read and watched the news. We are in lockdown all over the USA. Other countries are similar. I heard on the news that Sweden, has had the same death rate as we have in the USA and they did not lockdown, so why did we? Did it in fact make a difference. Statistically, we shouldn't have locked down according to Continue Reading

Birthday & Cleaning up YouTube Videos

December 11, 2019 by Emily Leave a Comment

My birthday was 6 days ago, it was really nice because I spent it with the person I wanted to spend it with, my husband. My gosh, it's so weird calling William, my husband. But at the same time, a dream come true. I may not have had a big ideal wedding, but I am happy, and that is what counts. My mother passed away quite a few years ago, so it wouldn't have been the same. I won't lie, I would have wanted a bigger wedding, it just didn't happen and well that is just how the cookie crumbles sometimes. I have the perfect husband, and I will take that over a big wedding any day. He gave me a gorgeous bracelet for my birthday! Speaking of weddings, my sister-in-law announced her wedding at our little gathering we had to celebrate our nuptials. They plan to have a Las Vegas wedding. She has been married before, I believe her fiance has as Continue Reading

Hello, I’m Emily

I am a child of God. A wife to William, a fur mommy to Daisy and Lily, and a fur mommy to my semi-feral to me girl Lilo (Tortie) and Mittens (Tuxedo) boy. My other ferals disappeared. I live in Massachusetts. I love to randomly photograph interesting things, and I enjoy blogging.
