Hustle and Bustle!

December 17, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

Now it gets really crazy, last-minute shopping, Christmas parties, and all kinds of stuff. As I mentioned in my last post, on Sunday we are going to William's sisters' house for Christmas dinner, which will be nice. But the weather is going to be crazy that night, I hear possible snow *brr* get cold just thinking of it. Although I welcome it, living in California most of my life, I saw snow, and if I did, it was up in the high desert area, interesting it snowed in the high desert. We were pretty close to Big Bear there, so we got a lot of that cold weather. But it was really nice, and getting a chance to see a lot of snow being dumped in this area is going to be awesome! I'm going to enjoy it as much as I can. Because you just don't know how long you have. I hope to have a nice time at this dinner, I won't really know anyone, and there Continue Reading

I’m a Toys R’ Us Kid!

December 14, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

Omgosh who don't like Toys R' Us, it's literally been years since I stepped into a Toys R' Us, but once in there, omgosh I wished I was a kid again :P I'd walk down aisles and think, omgosh I wish I was a little girl again lol, or something like that, or I'd say "They didn't have this when I was a kid". So I shake my head say "focus, focus" hehe. And we carry on looking for gifts for William's niece and nephews, it was really a lot of fun. I had to keep telling William, don't forget about Maddy, she's one of the twins, Jeremy is the other, and then there is RJ the oldest, they are really cute kids. So we spend a few hours in there, finding what he wanted to get them, but also admiring some of the things that we as adults can enjoy too!! So no snow, which is a good thing, because these windows on this house need to be sealed, Continue Reading

Ebay Rocks!

December 10, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

I've recently spent a lot of time on ebay shopping lol, and they have so much good stuff, although trying to outbid someone else to get what you want can be frustrating, especially if your ISP is slow, we have Verizon and it's okay, we are looking into getting FIOS, which will make things even faster ;) I've picked up a lot of good things for Christmas presents, there will be happy faces! Wow I started this post like 2 hours ago, and it sat here and I forgot about it, bad me lol. There isn't really much to talk about, just that you know doing the Christmas thing, getting ready for all that. Come Dec 20th we are off to Williams sisters house, for a family Christmas dinner, how nice I'm invited :D but I haven't a thing to wear, which bums me out! So I'll have to see if I can find a nice blouse that I won't freeze in somewhere lol. Then Continue Reading

Dexter is back!

December 8, 2009 by Emily 2 Comments

I am really excited about watching Dexter again. We have been waiting for Dexter to be available on Netflix and finally! After like 2 months this season finally is available. Ok so we are anticipating the arrival of the DVD, and nothing comes, even though William was notified that it was due to arrive on a certain day. It's his account, so he would get the notification. Well, nothing came were bummed out, then finally the next day it did arrive, we were excited we watched it and loved it. The delay was due to the fact the package was damaged and I guess by standards the Post Office must keep it and they re-bag it, so even though we felt that it was lost or something, William contacted Netflix and notified them, so they sent out another. It arrived like the next day funny enough. So now we are fully into Dexter again, and now have to Continue Reading

Happy Birthday To Me!

December 4, 2009 by Emily Leave a Comment

It's here, my birthday (I couldn't resist posting that icon there lol) OMGosh it's here. Yay! Ok well my birthday actually started yesterday, first with sweet William sending me some beautiful flowers, they are beginning to bloom, so that was soo very sweet of him. Then later, he got home with presents yay! Who doesn't love presents? Well he knows I am a big fan of Battlestar Galactica, and we had talked about the show many times, I've even thought about getting the DVD collection, but while looking at it, I noticed that they would send you a tall metal replica of the Cylon, so knowing this, he got me a Cylon action figure, omgosh it's so cute, I loved it. He also knows I am a big fan of Ghost Hunters: TAPS, so he got me a starter kit hehe. So we can actually do a little ghost hunting, oh that's spooky! When I opened up my birthday Continue Reading
